The way he produces the coin seemingly out of nowhere makes Elora think of Willow again, of the spontaneous sleight of hand that apparently saved her life. It's a fond memory now, at least, thrown as she might have been by the revelation at the time. Maybe it's just being a world away from her friends — her makeshift family, really — that makes it hard to be bothered by things that once weighed on her. Besides, it's not like she can't understand why someone might feel like a fraud and not want to admit it or let people down.
